Guys... Stop spreading such roomers related to roll out date ...stop guiding people to such trick that is harmful for device.
Motorola surely roll out update as soon as possible. So just be patient.

If u would have received an update, you wont be posting here on this forum.. Becasue people do google search they type, moto g lollipop update?lollipop release date?,and it lead them here on this forum,getting nothing. If there is no update supplied, how can u get one.
See,let them do their job,let them be double sure about their update,fast update leads to bugs.. And all of us,how motorola is in joint venture with other companies .. In India there are several service center but all of them are with either gionee or intex or spice etc. And if guys found any bug in motos latest update u will defenality go to service centre .utimatley leading u to be blame bad service ... Sit back and relax ..nobody will get it better its just a lollipop update(so called material design)..all users of us will get it ..
Easy solution is .. Don't check weather the update came or not .. And people don't fake it... Everybody wants to be superior, for those who got the so called update,, please don't post here again ..because we don't like fake information. Thankyou

Guys, patience!! It will take weeks for official lollipop OTA to be rolled out. Currently the soak test is being taking place. Only few members of MFN were seleted and update for everyone is not far behind. Be patient, we will be among the first few to get the update anyways :) So cheers!!;

We all are like dogs! Google put us in to it. lets take Apple iphones they don't have soak tests, developer previews and so on bullshits when they release their updates on ios everyone getting it and no filtering like first this second this and so on. they given the equal opportunities to enjoy their products. Yesterday I sold my moto G and bought an iphone 5S now i'm laughing at android users..android is really suck!

Guys don't be confused with unlocked word.there are two terms, carrier unlocked and boot loader unlocked. All Indian moto g are carrier unlocked. They will surely get official OTA update. But not that who have unlocked their boot loader for root in purpose.

AnonD-332222, 17 Nov 2014Unlocked phone will never get a official direct OTA. Are you crazy? Of course they do... All phones in India are technically unlocked... That is, they do not have any contract to carriers when you buy them

I guess officially release must be around 28-29 Nov. Clearing app data, rooting, etc. isn't solution at all.
