Check the xda forum thread for more info and coming to review there is no lag as mentioned by others. It's butter smooth and no bugs till now.

Upgraded to android l.... Bit slower... Using xda link....i don't know what's the matter.... Whether i will get future upgrade.....

Warranty doesnt get void cuz its official ota and we updated it manually. Ota alone is not the way to get update remember we update through pc too. So don't worry n update. Enjoy folks. Now start praising Moto.

Even i have manually updated my moto g xt 1033 via xda link. but the thing is that i am still unsure that would i able to get official ota update from motorola. I have heard that after manually upgrading captured soak test update we wont be able to get official update, because warranty gets void.

Upgraded my moto g2 using the xda link.. So far no issues.. But I somehow feel that it is not yet fully optimized for moto g2. Couple of apps are slow. But overall Android 4.4 was a bit smoother than 5.0.2. Will have to test more..
