Android laggy ?!?!?! are you sure ? I have the beautiful stunning Z Ultra, all 7 homescreens are full with over 250 apps and games, my internal storage is full, my 128gb SD card is full, I have over 200 web pages open at all times, i've never closed them, most of my apps are open in the background as well and at the same time I will either be watching a FHD movie or playing a HD game and there's no lag, please everyone don't make lies about certain OS's just to spite others, please tell the truth.

Don't understand the criticism levelled at Android, yes it's not perfect but wiith regards to updates I have no problem whatsoever. My Z Ultra began with 4.3, then updated to 4.4.4 and now it's also going to receive updates for 5.0, what more can you ask for. No OS is going to be perfect but Android is certainly the best out there especially with the amount of apps available but windows will slowly catch up.

unlike google and all android device vendors. releasing os upgrades only up to 18 months old devices (in reality it can be less than 18 months).

I got both too. it is true that WP is not lag free. There is no such thing as lag free. Nexus 7 is only better at gaming. For internet use, videos and other basic stuff, Lumia 1020 is better. However Nexus 7 have beautiful screen and watching videos on it is a joy.

Ever since i bought ... moreThe reason Windows Phone 7 couldn't upgrade to Windows Phone 8 because WP7 was running on Windows CE Kernel which originated from Windows CE and Pocket PC back in the days. The Windows NT kernel in Windows Phone 8 came from Windows desktop PC and Windows server. It's much more powerful, scalable, and optimized for multicore processors. Also all Windows Phone 7 devices came with single core processors. It would be a waste of time to make it all work on Windows Phone 8.

                                      Awesome Awesome Awesome.

This is what i like best about windowsphones. Ever since i bought my windowsphone 8 mobile, i get all the latest features. microsoft never stops updating them. wish there was something similar in android to the preview for developers in windowsphone. But so long as there isn't, i am sticking with microsoft. and as truly suggested, microsoft learnt a lesson from not updating their windowsphone 7 devices. With all the old handsets getting all the updates, buying a windowsphone has become so much easier. you do not have to wait for a new mobile to launch so that you an have updates for a longer duration. you can buy the one available in the market and know that this one will get all the updates that the new one would.

                                      Totally in love with windowsphone.
To get this in android, you either have to buy a nexus or android one device. Else, you are dependent on the manufacturer to supply updates to you.
