i brought a 1520 few months back and that was the biggest mistake i did. the thing came with lots of promises after i switched from a xperia z. it came with windows phone 8 and failed to impress me miserably. also i suffered a screen problem which it recognizes your scroll as a tap and launch stuff without any need. then it started to make me realize that there's no official youtube client for it or google maps either. for youtube i had to depend on metro tube which the interface was nice but to tell the truth not that impressive as a official youtube client. for google maps i tried various third party apps which are boring and outdated and filled with adwares, then i thought here maps will help me and started using that. i was really mad at here maps it has never been developed properly, for all i have searched it gave me few results here and there. if i searched for the nearest atm it gave me a result where miles away from my location. wp 8.1 showed me hope with cortana i waited months for the update then finally i got it. then again it was better for few days only and the screen problem never got solved either. i was fed up and moved to a m8. i'm happy again. later on i saw that microsoft have picked microsoft name for there new lumias instead of nokia name, well i thought i did a perfectly better thing by giving away my nokia lumia because once the name is changed im pretty sure all the second hand market prizes will drop for nokia lumias. am i right. so the bottom line is no matter what update we get for lumias those phones will be getting the same looking unimpressive os with lots of impressions and still we will get bored with it later. please microsoft instead of making changes to brand names and releasing newer os versions why not make a better difference like improving here maps maybe and releasing some official apps for youtube. figure out your problems with google because at the end the users of your phones will be the once who suffer the most. (same message should be gone for google too)

Such a strong advantage of connecting their Eco-systems... Could do with a Casio GShock Bluetooth to complete the set. Microsoft MUST advertise this as their clear advantage to Apple 🍎. & Samsung.... Just sumoly WOW!

This is a truly amazing announcement from Microsoft, proving there continued care to all us Nokia nostaligics. Had my smooth Lumia 820, still going to be looked after 3 years of purchase. No Samsung or Apple phone has ever had inclination or hardware ability to retain customers without need for upgrade.

Big hats off to Microsoft for this promise. Clever strategy and the 520, 530, 630, 730, 830 purchases WILL overtake Apple 🍎 worldwide ownership of approx 20%. to become Samsung competitor.

Unifying with pc & tablets & phones is the master class project to make them the MAJOR force....

Stick with here maps and watch your percentage surge. Good luck for lollipop, I worry for Apple 6.

time to ditch droid...and move to win phone..most of the droids out there wont get any update except for sum flagships..all low end droids are junks...unlike lumia, which takes care off all budget phones too....
