AnonD-26080, 16 Nov 2014How do you install zip fileyou have to unzip the file and once its done transfer it anywhere on your google device and make sure to remember where its saved then you go to your actual bootloader and from there you have to install it mannually and it should work
This makes the gadget still a viable option and can challenge the Moto g 4 ete 2nd generation. Good move by android to update older but still capable. Following windows in aiming for customers who want mobile 📱 phones for 5 years, not two years....

meliq, 15 Nov 2014just updated nexus 4 via nexus root toolkit, and my phone is now stuck in bootloop... No worry bro, it is normal for it, same goes with minr, wait for around 3 to 5 minute will do
Manually flashed the image on nexus 4 . battery life is same as it was on KitKat..loving the new fresh look though. Chandigarh india
Google release factory image first and then start roll-out OTA. And that is country wide. You can just flash the phone from image file or wait for some time so OTA arrive in India.
AnonD-329824, 15 Nov 2014About time. If you spend £300 or £400 on a phone, my opinion is it should be looke... moreThey should update it once if you only spend £100, twice if you spend £200 and so on.

There are no excuses for them, the features of the OSes are not that hyper advanced for them to really need high end SoCs all the time. If that were to be case then Mediatek, Rockwell and the likes won't have a reason to exist.
