O2 UK: don't expect Lumia Denim update this year Comments

Funny that Carphone Warehouse in the UK has been selling Lumia 735 for some time with Denim Update and Cortana on it.
So why is it taking so long to be released on other Lumia Models in the UK?

O2 s*cks. O2 did the same thing with my Xperia Arc, 1st they said they are testing Android 4.0 on the phones, they took a long time and finally refused to update. If I buy a phone from o2 that does not mean they can do whatever they want. If i buy a phone from Sony/Nokia etc, they will decide what they want to do with their devices. o2... you are a network provider, not a phone manufacturer, dont be cheeky.

Many for carries is U.S has still hasn't pushed Lumia Cyan but we Indians are completely got used to Cyan firmware.
So take it easy , and get ready to update your phone to Lumia Denim before New Year

that's the reason why it is better to buy a sim free phone, bec of these carriers delaying the update.

It's better to check "http://www.microsoft.com/en/mobile/support/software-update/wp8-software-update/" daily, instead of checking for update every two hour.
When the title changed from Lumia Cyan to Lumia Denim, follow your Lumia's region (Not where you are or where you received the handset!).
When the line of your model and its carrier turns to available, then just one click on your lumia and update your phone.

My dad's Lumia 925 had problems with its motherboard and had to replace it while trying to update to 8.1 via PC, and at that time the warranty has expired for a week from there.
