Since the deal with Microsoft doesn't allow the real Nokia to make phones by last date of December, 2015, Nokia has returned to the consumer market with a tablet which is made by Foxconn (guess). I'm glad that Nokia has come back to the consumer market. As a user of three Nokia phones, Nokia 2310 (still working), Nokia X2-01 (dead) and Nokia N8-00 (still kicking), I wholeheartedly welcome Nokia back. When Nokia announced its plans to discontinue Symbian and MeeGo and adopt Windows Phone OS as their primary OS for phones, I was stunned. At that time, Windows Phone was an immature OS and had nothing amazing to offer and was very restrictive. The only thing that was selling Windows Phone was the Nokia brand. Due to the restrictive nature of Windows Phone and lack of popular apps at that time, I didn't buy any Windows Phone. However, with the inclusion of Windows Phone 8, things seemed to have improved and when the Lumia 520 launched I bought it and used several months before selling it off. Was a good handset only flawed by the restrictions of Windows Phone OS. Turned down by Windows Phone and dying nature of my Symbian phone, I bought two droids, one Android 2.3 Gingerbread and other Jellybean 4.2 and I really liked the OS because I was coming from a Symbian phone and the usability was easy and similar to Symbian in some ways, however I haven't found the hardware quality to equal that of Nokia's. It's good to see Nokia back and I wouldn't miss a chance to buy this tablet which would be my first tablet. I can't find any negatives in this tablet except that the memory can't be expanded, tablets are used mostly for multimedia consumption and that requires storage, x86 architecture processor is another regret, I have Zenfone 4 A450CG which uses an Intel chip and some games and apps don't install on it because those apps and games aren't optimized to work on x86 architecture but that's not much of an issue because who knows, in future maybe they will be updated to work on x86 architecture. Last, the launcher needs some development and those circular icons needs to be replaced by squarish ones or a blend of both. Overall, nice entry by Nokia. I will just wait for 2016 because I want a solid Nokia phone with Android.
Will happily buy this. Hope they come back to mobile phones as well
Specs is Amazing. for $249 you get 7.9 inches (~324 ppi pixel density), Android Lollipop, Unibody aluminum Design and the first Device that use reversible USB connector. HTC Nexus 9 has 8.9 inches (~281 ppi pixel density) Only. I got an iPad Air, Will defiantly buy This one!
Nice move by Nokia, nxt iz the full powered Android Smartphones by Nokia.Thumbs UP
Finally.. Nokia can see it's era again if they combine best hardware quality (which is something they have) with current best software available (Android 5).
Nice move by Nokia, nxt iz the full powered Android Smartphones by Nokia.Thumbs UP
