They should just scrap 99% of their lineup, as nobody is going to buy Samsung because:

-Lousy OS update speeds Xiaomi Mi2S already got Lollipop on Oct 15 while god know whens Note 3 gets it despite being more than 2x the price and released like a year later.
-Anti-consumer features such as voiding warranty when rooting and SIM-locking.
-Terrible low-end and midrange devices in terms of specs/price.
    -Bloatware and more bloatware.
-Plasticky premium phones despite asking for premium prices.
    -Lousy resale values.

You mean the stylus that the Note series has had for 4 years?? Fingerprint scanners are just gimmicks that no one uses for longer than 2 weeks. Stop trolling and grow up.

Well if samsung play it right, they should have the Alpha range, the Note range, and perhaps a mini range - there's your mid-range devices.

Samsung's switch to metal frames for the new phones should further bolster their likeability - everyone else, Sony, Apple, HTC, NokiaMicrosoft uses a metal subframe - so why not??

Mind you - I've lost count on how many people have complained about the Y and ace series here, and how lacking they are - - then again, you get what you pay for...

I liked the galaxy s4 dimension with 5 inch screen. now the galaxy alfa is good

I love samsung, but lately they've been producing too many models which are not even worthy upgrades. Quality over quantity guys.

Samsung stop making horrible phones !!! Do some other stuff - copying is not working for you anymore..and adding one core & add some more RAM every year is not enough. Make real useful phone with good user experience.
                    >>when there's a rumor of iStylus - u make one
                    >>when you heard abt bigger iPad - u come out of a shitty tablet
                    >> when you heard abt finger print scanner - u add annoying features

whats this ?? so stop making high end phone , if u r nt capable.

Nokia dominated the market for years, and look where they are now. Samsung won't be an exemption if they don't watch their asses, what goes up, must come down.

CNN said it best: Samsung to stop making so many damn phones

                        http://money.cnn.com/2014/11/18/technology/mobile/samsung-phones/index.html

SRSLY, FIFTY-TWO different models..? That's not spray & pray, that's infinite-monkeys-on-typewriters time. Clearly their profit margins made them arrogant and they believe that anything with the word GALAXY in its name will sell.

There should be 3 tiers of performance, and at most maybe 3-4 models in each with different sizes and features. A dozen to twenty models at most, worldwide. And bluntly there don't even need to be that many, since every regional variation can and should be made in SOFTWARE, like Nokia and Ericsson could do 15 years ago..

hahaah about time. poor move on samsung's part to release so many models and versions of every phone. Every iteration of the phones got worse and worse. samsung is going downhill fast. With them failing to provide tizen, and them being the worst android OEM, its going to get worse and worse for you samsuck.
