Sure x86 has some raw power i must admit but big Intel mistake is that mobile technology is much different from thus desktop.
I don't want to talk about noisy technical details but if you do quick google research everything could be explained in way you understand.
P.S. FYI Intel Atom is cheap because currently is receiving heavy subsidiary ( read sold under their market value) from Intel as part of their campaign.

He stated facts and you're splatting your opinion with a fact tone in it. Show me a phone tablet that has the S805 8 months ago (and no Qualcomm's dev unit doesn't count as it wasn't commercialized). Don't forget this thing sells for less than half of S805 phones/phablets/tablets and you said it yourself that it matches it.

thank god nokia is again recovering.hard to imagine without the nokia brand on its products.the tablet looks simply great.But it will take its time to reach India,I guess.

Not to mention problem of overheating on even medium usage.

No GSM version. 250$ for a WiFi version? I prefer to buy a Nexus 9 where future updates are guaranteed. Nokia is history. We still do not know anything about the new Nokia. They sold their mobile division. Can not be trusted any more.

Those bottom stereo speakers is a d... moreNo premium price either. CPU is actually more powerful than 2-core Denver in Nexus 9. And might be even more powerful than 4-core Cortex A57 and 3-core Cyclone of Apple A8X.
GPU is same as Mini 2/3 and Air 1, but overclocked, so more powerful. 136 GFLOPs vs 115. Yes, it's not as twice more powerful GeForce DX1, but price is also twice less than Nexus 9. 500 to 250 of greens.
Nexus 9 on the other hand, despite having GeForce DX1 it does not support Nvidia exclusives, like Half-Life 2, Portal, Trine 2 and dozens of just unveiled PC ports due to lack of OpenGL 4 support in stock firmware. So it's not really a gaming device. Yet it's very powerhungry and hot. It also has poor video format support - just h.264 up to high profile at level 5. No High 10 profile and no HEVC (x265). And CPU isn't powerful enough to offer software decoding maintaining low power consumption.
Here you get a good working powerhouse that suits well for a reasonable price. And GPU is more powerful than top tablets of late 2013. Yet still on level of top smartphones. So you will able to play everything on high details except Nvidia exclusives. But you won't able to play them on Nexus 9 as well.
Lack of NFC is quite important to me though. Still NFC is popular here, but not worldwide yet.
