pipo, 18 Nov 2014Hey look, an Ipad running Android. How neat is that?ipad is the best and nokia is the beast, take note of that
raj, 18 Nov 2014would that mean shitty customer support....sure looks that way! and then some. this was good news but now nokia are playing with us here. will they be able to ensure that most of the units in stores are "compliant" to thier standards? i dont see that working out too good. so yes my friend what u said could follow as customer support, with blame shifting between two giant companies and u stuck in between with no power to force them to help u.

no need to explain the quality control issue.
the tablet looks solidly built.
what Nokia approves , i approve. nuff said
raj, 18 Nov 2014would that mean shitty customer support....Why would it?!
It is just as much a Nokia product as an iPhone or iPad is an Apple product.
This is exactly what all phone companies do. Apple's products are made by Foxconn too.
This is just as much a Nokia product as an Apple iPad or iPhone is an Apple product.
I might as well buy a phone by Louis Vitton...or Berberry
would that mean shitty customer support....
Apple is doing it for years already. Why not, if the product is of good quality as we are used of Nokia products, it's no problem at all.
Companies that use Foxconn are Apple, Motorola Nintendo, Google, Sony, Dell, Toshiba, Microsoft, Blackberry, Cisco, Amamzon
AnonD-39775, 18 Nov 2014where are those apple haters who accused apple using children at foxconn for apple products :)... moreChild labor is a bad thing, no matter who is behind the products.
The public outcry especially towards Apple and its manufacturing chain has two main points of origin:
1. They originally dismissed the Foxconn suicides as problems and tried to hide the facts. Since then the suicide rates have lowered dramatically but Apple is still regarded as dishonest on the matter.
2. Their "big simultaneous launch" model promotes the mass manufacturing of large amounts of hardware in a very short span. Even when doing it in stages it demands a large number of seasonal workers, overtime, mass recruitement processes and more lax practices regarding child labor.
Most brands are to blame here (Foxconn conducts manufacturing processes for almost all major electronic brands) but the stigma Apple carries has a reason.
This might explain why the N1 is a shameless copy of the iPad!
where are those apple haters who accused apple using children at foxconn for apple products :))) ????????????
Who will take care of its software development?
All they need to do now is liscense their name to Jolla. :D everybody wins!
Feeling really sorry for Nokia, Microsoft trapped Nokia into it's pathetic software, if Nokia had opted android we would have seen this kind of quality and innovative devices.
P.S I am iOS user who grewup watching Nokia n still want it to perform better.
