Anonymous, 19 Nov 2014How much paid Samsung to display Mate? Even my Z3 has better color reproduction than the Note... moreYeah, not a penny. Not everyone is like you, whom can be bought like that.
And get up from your sleep.
Anonymous, 21 Nov 2014This means that you know nothing about display panels.
Plasmas have burn-in issues too. But h... moreThe only time burn in is going to happen on a mobile phone is if you have a static image displayed for months and months on end (presumably with prominent lines, or colors). Which would cause burn in for almost any panel.
U know my LG G2's screen is so perfect for me. It's so good that I realized it after buying LG G2. Mine seemed better than G3, and decided to use it until G4.
AnonD-175233, 20 Nov 2014Do AMOLEDs still suffer from burn in? Answer this.Yes, they're going to burn in over time. But the newest Amoleds (Note 4, S5) are better than those in previous phones (the technology is evolving), but still not as good as IPS.
Don't forget that a phone with non-removable battery is worse than a phone with today's Amoled screen. (Because the battery degrades faster.)
Meladyx, 19 Nov 2014There has never been any sort of significant burn in for any type of OLED or LCD Panel.

Plasmas have burn-in issues too. But here we are talking about mobile phones. In phone industry, the only the AMOLED screen has the burn-in problems. And it affects ALL AMOLED screens. However, it's depending on the usage of the phone. If you avoid static images, reduce screen brightness and don't use the phone constantly, then the burn-in will be less noticeable or appear later. But it's sure that it's going to appear over time.

Do AMOLEDs still suffer from burn in? Answer this.
its thee best phone ever made ...iphone has no was of catching up .....ppl buy iphone coz its a simple phone , non special about it
GSMAA, 19 Nov 2014You should try LG G3 its resolution is higher than note 4Note 4 has 515 ppi whereas g3 has 534 ppi ,thats just a small difference and would be impossible to note with the naked eye.still the note has bright vibrant colors while the lg g3 doesnt.note 4's charge gets you through two days but g3 could not give a day's usage.
Just another confirmation of how the Note 4 reigns supreme in the smartphone realm.
All super AMOLED display are the best. Just compare old galaxy s2 and new iphone 6 same icons and photos how vibrant , vivid and beautiful super AMOLED but faded and dull iphone display in front of AMOLED. So I agree note 4 display is the best of the best.

Please, I don't don't into these kind of stuff. As I already know, Display Mate got paid by Samsung and Apple.
I am for Super LCD displays like at LG G3 no mater what.
Robert
Even though I'll be switching to a G3 soon, I still think Super AMOLEDs are the best. And I'm pretty sure I'm going to miss the screen on my current device.
If not for the hardware home key and the stylus I never use, except to play with, I probably would have stuck it out with Samsung.
