Samsung this not good for you, with a simple fall my samsung S7 edge fell and broke its gorilla screen against one of their key marketing strategy.
I take the phone to the service provide (Repairer) Samsung agent Cell City -Botswana, goal post change, I am told the screen glass is just as ordinary as any other glass I must forget the gorilla glass.
This cannot help anything forward and I dont take this kind of feedback very easy, please lets engage for your own credibility, learning and improvements. your screen that attracted many including me is not supposed to break that easily.

I don't trust them. Every new iteration of their Gorilla Glass, I don't see any less complaints of scratching and breaking.

I don't get this why are nokia phones screen tougher than other phones because many phones would crack from a fall while my. Lumia won't. It happened with me several time. S3 screen would scratch while 920 won't with exactly same usage.

A screen protector works better better than any corning or oleophobic. Screen protector would only cost about 1/100 of such glass.

Hmm... I wonder how R&D for the display or glass panel that features tactile feedback is doing now. No new breaking news about it has surfaced yet

hmm, 20 Nov 2014Sapphire is harder but it may shatter more easily. Glass is harder than gold yet it shatters m... morealuminum oxide = alumina = Al2O3 = corundum = sandpaper = sapphire :-)

Actually, corundum is VERY tough and won't shatter as easily as some will lead you to believe. Really though, they just need to make screens flexible and this will eliminate cracking and shattering. We use screen protectors to block scratches...
