Never ......it's dreaming ......hhahahaha these phones are like Trojan virus....final stage is only deletion.
please dont dreamed too much, its wont happen, even though their phone is affordable..please dont dreamed to be on the first spot..
Then start making phone instead ifironing rod. your phones heats like I can even make omelet on it! you overclock your processors like anything and the result is a useless overheating phone!!!
I agree with this prediction because best phone on best price. Look apple is selling $199 dollars phones selling $900 dollers in the market. You can check BOM or bill of materials in the Internet or Google them that is the production cost. But xiaomi is honestly doing BUSINESS not CHEATING.
I hope not. Companies who "forget" sd slots and put non-removable batteries don't deserve to be in top 5, let alone #1
#1 means premium price? No, just don't do it. U'r killing U'r self.
MdN8, 21 Nov 2014Look, I'm a Nokia user and I'd be happy to see them back, but it's just not gonna happen. That... morei totally agree with u brother
for all the people concerned about their privacy, xiaomi doesnt steal peoples data, its mi cloud is a cloud based free service for backing up your contacts, messages and photos , you can choose what needs back up n u could also back out from the cloud service totally, since xiaomi servers are based in china , the users data is backed up in china servers n now they are planning to move their servers outside of china for international users, i myself found the mi cloud very useful when i formatted my phone n using the mi cloud service i could retrieve all my data, messages, photos back, thank u xiaomi for providing such quality phones and services at such a low cost whereas the heavyweights like samsung, sony, apple are ripping us off of our hard earned money, love u xiaomi, would like to see u at number one spot in three years from now, i dream it n i sincerely hope it
AnonD-272249, 21 Nov 2014A commie type propaganda...you won't win us over to xiaomi. Not my problem. Just saying what I see. Otherwise, happy without US or Chinese propaganda and living in Europe. :-p
You also said:
"Do strange names like Xiaomi, Huawei exude an air elegance, quality, sophistication and fine craftsmanship outside of China?"
Well, only European brands ever had any class and sophistication and a certain "aura" if you wish, but they're gone now. So, following that logic, you can write off Apple, Samsung, Sony and LG too, nothing sophisticated about their designs.
But I admit that I like Motorola and BlackBerry. They still have some style and dignity.

Xioami is really very nice device, using android. Top1 in china. Problem is they do not have international presence. They need IMMEDIATELY to open office in many countries. This will jump sales, and really will be number2 in 2 years, and number 1 in the world in 5 years.
AnonD-122899, 21 Nov 2014After my experience with 1s from Xiaomi, I will not get another phone from them again. The MIU... moreLook, I'm a Nokia user and I'd be happy to see them back, but it's just not gonna happen. That N1 tablet is just an embarrassment, an iPad copy from a company known for recognizable designs with a spyware OS that's against what Nokia used to be, and all their best people are with Microsoft now anyway. All they can do is borrow their name to Foxconn. As for the future, Android is a childish OS best suited for no-name whatever phones, just like Windows on PCs (who cares what brand their PC is) and most reasonable users in my country don't even look at Samsung, Sony or LG any more. Not worth the money. And those who managed to get a Xiaomi Mi3 from abroad couldn't be happier with what they got for the money.
As for the "iPhone copy" thing - MIUI had those icons way before iOS 7 so I don't expect Apple to complain. MIUI is probably too complicated for an average Apple user anyway. Someone mentioned "stealing data" too - well look at Google and Apple. Do you think Google could get away with so much illegal stuff on YouTube (full movies, full albums etc) if they weren't "paying" the US government somehow, like, with user data? NSA guys brag how they can take someone's photo with their own iPhone or iPad without the user knowing. Microsoft does that too, but to their credit when US officials want someone's data, Microsoft also sends them a bill. So... Chinese are like puppies compared to Americans.
Shortly, for people who really want Android, Chinese brands are the most logical option. And Xiaomi seems to be the best of them.
in your dreams!
xiaomi will die in 5 yrs so as china! hahahaha
ahahhahhahahahahaahhahhahahhahahahhahahhahahahhahahahhahahahhahahahhahahahahhahahahah!
They think copying Apple and stealing data from users will get them to the top lol. They cant even bring their devices to the west cause they will get sued to the road.
They should stick to selling their garbage in India or China where people only care about price and nothing else. In USA they will get slaughtered.
Stop buying chinese brand like this, ok its cheap but totally waste of money its like you buy a disposable phone after a months,
MdN8, 21 Nov 2014"ridiculus phones with low quality" Errr, who are you talking about? Apple? Samsung... moreNot really. Xiaomi is selling their outdated crap models mostly outside China. Once they have released a much better flagship, then they will start selling the previous older models in other countries. Xiaomi is treating other countries as dumping grounds for the old models.
After my experience with 1s from Xiaomi, I will not get another phone from them again. The MIUI is totally crap! So bloated and apps get terminated so often because of the little ram available. If Touchwiz is bad, MIUI is worse. Of all things, they copied iPhone to the max. Even the app drawer is not available on MIUI. Wanna be No.1?? No freaking way! Nokia is coming back and Nokia can sweep the floor with Xiaomi.
oh c'mon xiaomi! before you do that fix your OS first..that Buggy and bloated MIUI. and not so user friendly OS.
10 years ago - what was smart phone. 10 years later - who need smart phone.
Do strange names like Xiaomi, Huawei exude an air elegance, quality, sophistication and fine craftsmanship outside of China?
