I don't think this firmware with kinetic scroll will coming.
It's Nokia marketing strategy.
So If you want kinetic scroll feature, you should sell your 5800 and buy the 5530.

ummm, the update would be available after the 5530 is released, and it was released just like a month or less ago. The new updates are scheduled like around september. So this announcement was just early...they already finished v30 when they said this.

Hi I'm just update my 5800 today in Thailand and I found that after FW upgrade you have to Hard reset your device if not its will show some bug to you.
Also from my opinion FW.30 has no big change from FW.21 but i hope that some bug will be fix!
If you guys found some bug already lets share

okay...so i jus got the new update....and ummm nothin really happened...kind of WACK! like the respones time switchin from screen to screen is quicker, but ohter than that i havent notice anything else....

I can't Wait for the firmware update. but i'm not really expecting much, like kinetic scrolling, or new homescreen. nokia never confirmed such things.

The news about the v30 for 5800 is not confirmed. v30 is confirmed but it does not mean that it will bring kinetic scrolling and widget based home screen or improved camera performance.
