I wonder how it will cope with the widgets. I had issues with running out of memory and apps not responding on my 5800

I think they are updating mow about camera with purpose, because the are having loses, so they can keep costumers.

I'm been using LG Cookie for the past 6 months and switched to 5800XM last week. The user friendliness of 5800XM is far too behind compare to LG Cookie...which i can say LG Cookie is much more simple to use than 5800XM. Selling off soon to opt for LG Arena or Samsung Jet...

Jason (N78 user), 20 Jul 2009Damn! Thats a great news! I will get this phone this December. You should not, the UI is horrible.

I tried on N97, X5800 and Omnia HD, it just sucks.

I prefer by far the Samsung UI and LG UI, of course best one is Apple UI (but I really like Samsung one, really fast and thumb optimized !)

Nokia is goin to reveal two new series named C-series and X-series,but wht X stand for is still unknown bt C series is reserved for C-omputers line and rumor r sayin X could be eXtrem-series.

i realy hope it fixes the boot to home screen during browsing...no mater if its nokia's of opera's browser. Or does this relate to the 300+mhz cpu and/or 128mb of memory. The last update made the "re"booting worse...enyone else have this broplem

Was too good to be true. In the best case, the 5800 XM will get a homescreen similar to the 5530 XM, not the N97. Makes more sense now.

If someone looked deeper at the source forum, they could see.

Quote (someone asked to confirm it, as news was spreading through the internet like wildfire) :

"...didn't realise it made such an impact on the internet. Yes I can confirm they are working on it because when I was there, they said "Okay now we open to questions on the floor".. I was the first one to ask being an all Nokia 5800 user than I am. And the Nokia representative's reaction was... "lol... I kinda expected that question to pop up and it would have been a surprise if it didnt.. yes we are aware that Nokia 5800 users do want the enchanced homescreen.. etc since leaked videos of the 5530 have been spreading all over the internets.... etc"

But then again I confidently say this. I am saying that they are aware we want it. I am also saying they are working on it. But I do not guarantee it will materialize because he hinted that they stumbled upon bugs and performance decrease with the kinetic scrolling n enchanced homescreen on the Nokia 5800. So whether or not it is final, no one can tell. But I am satisfied with what i contributed during the meet up because all this while we are just complaining on the internet and sending pointless feature requests to nokia website without knowing if they are actually hearing us. But now we do know, that they are listening =)

Oh and btw if someone could just tell that guy who blogged abt it that the enhanced homescreen is like the 5530 and not the N97..."

"GSMArena has even made the homescreen like the n97. Someone tell them that it should be like the 5530 , not n97"
