Tuck, 20 Jul 2009Rubbish Comment - Tucks... Totally paid comments.........I am using Cookie from last 1 month.... more5million of these handsets were sold due to very good marketing and an even better price for a touchscreen, hence many of our younger customers buying this phone. As they bought it their friends in school saw this seemingly amazing handset which they could actually persuade their parents to buy.

I'm not saying it's for kids but kid's were the target market and they all buy in trends. This all explains the high sales volumes.

You're just speaking from one experiance and you've only had it for one month so how can you argue my point.

I apologise if this offends you, but this is probably the most unreliable handset i've known. As i say I work for carphone warehouse so i recieve all the flak.

I own a LG KP 501 and I would like to know if there are applications for this mobile available somewhere for free, if there is a link to get them I´ll appreciate the help. Thanks in advance,

Yeah that's great and everything for lg. But if you work in a phone shop it's not good as all five million of them are coming back broken. Rubbish phone.

If anyone wants a low-end low-cost touchscreen then buy a samsung tocco lite. Heck of alot better and more reliable, sleeker, similar features, more responsive touchscreen, facebook myspace apps out of box and nicer camera. There missing a couple of chips in this cookie.

Great achievement for LG! The Cookie is a simple and fun phone, and works great for those who want a touchscreen but doesn't want to jump into Smartphoneland.

And hey, it's always good to see Cookie Monster! Hum... cookies...

"A visa for Cookieland costs just 130 euro, less than its arch nemesis - the Samsung S5230 Star."

Actually, the Samsung Star is available here in the Netherlands for 100-130 euros new, though sim-locked.

The success of this device is well deserved. Up until the arrival of the Samsung
s5230 no other device offered such a generous package in the touch screen market. And it's responsiveness is on par with much expensive devices. Only the lack of 3 G and a more advanced camera module prevents total domination. As a user I strongly recommend it. It would also be ideal for smart phone users (and this device is smart in features) who want a good solid secondary device.

this is good new lg is getting better , and about the cookie the only minus point is that it got no 3g and front video call camera otherwise i would have brought it . but at the moment the prize tag of the cookie is excellent for what it provides .
