The only worry is battery life. Yes 3000ish nahIis decent. And I'm sure average power draw is improved with S810.

However we are also talking a 6.2inch WQHD display and more than likely LTD. That's a lot of juice needed to push around even for a more equipped chip. Especially at peak intensities.
WQHD LCD power draw is still a great bit behind the Note 4's WQHD Amoled which uses up to 40% less power than a 5inch 1080p LCD

With 2-2 2GHz being more ready later on with official release next year.
And what about the second half of the year.

"There are eight microphones built-in." ???

how much noise cancellation do you need or they r there to serve a different purpose?

By the way, both of them have awesome hardware, my last years PC rocking an Intel 4770k does not have ddr4 memory.

Is it me or does the phone looks kind of nude from the front ;)

                  Pretty beastly.
Samsung was hard at work with those 4gb ram chips.

Memory is one of their largest areas of leadership and expertise.
They should have released the 4gb they had with the Note 4. Now they missed the window

If you can't afford it, get a mid range phone, second hand phone or something from China.

So the already released snapdragon 615 and the to-be released 810 will truly take advantage of 5.0 lollipop, I guess, I'm gonna get a hold of HTC desire 820 then with sd615.

AnonD-230821, 24 Nov 2014too expensive... rather wait for Xperia Z4...These are not phones for consumers. They are like demo units for manufacturers.
If you notice that the tech specs don't mention any network antennas and bands so you won't have much use as a phone even if you get it :P
But the final devices from manufacturers I expect to be pretty highly priced too as they are going to try and sell the whole '64bit +4 gb ram' as the greatest innovation to revolutionize the mobile industry based mainly on benchmarks i guess :P

i used to wait this monster coming out when i see the samsung announce s5 this year, a few days after, they announce that SD810 will are on its way with 20nm and 64bit.
this is purely worth before SD801 and SD805. Including as we know that android Lollipop will be run automatically special optimized on 64bit android, SD805 surely mean nothing on it.

cant wait to see the performance differences SD810 vs SD805...

Anonymous, 24 Nov 2014Now we're talking. True 64-bit with 4GB DRAM not that fake Apple 64-bit with 1GB.Not really. Apple 64 bit processors were as real as any of these. Qualcomm was just trying to make it look bad because they weren't ready with their 64 bit.
More ram is wasted ram and battery for mobile apps cos most apps don't use that much ram unlike what the android manufacturers want us android users to beleieve by their spec wars. (My laptop comes with 4gb ram and it is cruising along just fine.)

If you still believe the sh*t qualcomm tried to feed us all android users, then you want to check out the Apple A7 review done by anadtech which clearly show that there is gain in performance by hoping over to 64 bit (compare the 5 vs 5s scores as both remain at 1 gb ram)

Anonymous, 24 Nov 2014Now we're talking. True 64-bit with 4GB DRAM not that fake Apple 64-bit with 1GB.You're wrong, Sir..
I agree that 64bit OSes used to require 4GB RAM at least to exploit its memory address space. But its not just the memory which has an address.. under shared memory architecture even devices are alloted memory addresses - so a 64bit CPU is better equipped to handle peripherals which occur in huge numbers in a mobile phone..
Also, the ARMv8 instruction set brings several added instructions the highlight being cryptography instructions.. which means high speed security :P:P
Also the Cyclone core in those apples is wider than anything else out there, even the biggest intels..
clock for clock, Cyclone core is the fastest ever

if anyone noticed the display is a tad bigger than the one one the nexus 6 for the smartphone device. and the battery at 3020mah is kinda small IMO for it unless serious optimazation is done to take advantage of the SD810 chipset. waiting to see what products this development will yeald. i like the bumping up of the resolution on the tab coz i hate the current offers. with 4k on a 10.1" panel details should be crisp for movies.
