The specs should be
- 4.5"
Why bother to buy Moto E or Moto E second gen..Just buy Xiaomi Redmi 1s ..more adavanced than either and only INR 5999..Better specs..better build..better Cam..To the boot cheaper too. Unless Moto moves fast..it is dead as dodo in India market.

4. 2000+ mAh removable battery

sush, 04 Dec 2014plz dont make it with high SAR value like other moto devicesYes, also no full HD video recording, and lack of front camera. Very high repair costs.
No need to read, just look at the calendar, it is 2014. Then obviously this is bigger and thinner, with same (or lower) resolution and has a low end quadcore Cortex A7, of course. One could wait for the official specs but undoubtedly i am right so no need.
sush, 04 Dec 2014plz dont make it with high SAR value like other moto devicesIf you knew anything about sar you would want a high value to get better signal.
plz dont make it with high SAR value like other
moto devices
People are asking for mid range specifications at low budget end devices. Even if it could only offer snapdragon 400 at the same price without any other improvements still it will be a market leader. Even micromax and Chinese brands are unable to give such specs at this budget. Mediatek chipsets are the only alternative at this price. Snapdragon 200 at best. Motorola is doing enough already. I hope they include front cam this time. Then it will rule the market. And it is about time they upgraded Moto G to Snapdragon 600 series.
AnonD-338066, 04 Dec 2014I love all these "It should have this (insert part that would make it more expensive)&quo... moreBigger and removable battery won't affect the price. LED flash costs nothing too. It's not about price, it's about policy. All smartphone makers'policies suck and they are deliberately making their phones more crappy then they should be/can be. Including the Flagmans
I love all these "It should have this (insert part that would make it more expensive)"
This is a very inexpensive unlocked phone, the first generation was more than a bargain. Any improvements are welcomed but it will not have top end parts because it can't to keep price down.
I don't like the design
My suggestion would be to give, 5" inch screen - 3100mAh battery, Snapdragon 400 with 1.6GHz Quad core, front camera with 3MP-5MP, rear camera could be the same 5MP with Flash. Expandable memory upto 128GB - though people are not going to use one. else 64GB Expandable. Inbuilt with 8GB memory. RAM of 1.5GB--- Price give if for INR 7999... You will be the market and segment leader with this spec.
It should have front camera of altleast 2 MP & size should be 4.7 inch.
Oh, and improve audio quality. I notice all Motorolas have poor frequency response, even Droid turbo.
