Hi all.. I had got update of moto g 1st gen through system update on 23JAN2015. That time i was using 2g net..so when i clicked yes i m in, the download did not happen. later when i put 3g net on my mobile still there was no sign of update. when i clicked on system update it was sort of hung. when i connected with MDM(Motorolla Device manager) on computer it showed update is in progress. so i waited to complete the update. however after consuming 600 mb of data the update did not happen. then i removed the updates of motorola update driver and again updated it through play store. then the system update showed your software is upto date. second day a new update available and i used WIFI to update this time. remember if you press may be later then you will get message as 'software is upto date for some time. keep on checking and you will get the update. there is no other way you can receive update. i contacted online chat for motorolla. they also told me same thing, if you missed the update some how you have wait till the system update showed you update again and after that please use 3g or wifi to download. enjoy your LOLLIPOP....
