Anonymous, 04 Dec 2014So what did Nokia achieve with advertising?Their achievement was they weren't acquired by Chinese companies. Back with Symbain, Nokia already started bleeding. So still, it's a win-win situation. Nokia is profitable again. Android? Na. It doesn't make any $$$ for popular OEMS these days considering Samsung, HTC, LG and mostly Sony which only make low-mid-high end Android phones and only Android phones and still over a billion dollars loss.

Huwaei's logic. Make a crappy low end Windows Phone and don't advertise it all and then cry out loud that not even a single unit was sold...

It's completely Microsoft's fault... Yeah exactly. By the way, It's jut not Windows Phone. HTC, LG, Sony, every major OEM is losing money because of Chinese companies.

Nobody will ever miss you Huwaei.

No surprise. Lumia is king. My wife just got the new HTC One M8 for Windows, and it sucks compared against my (old) Lumia 920. Lumia exclusive apps make ALL the difference.

I think huawei's spokesman was a real gentleman. He said "WP didn't make any money..." but I think, the real problem is that WP makes massive LOSSES to any company.
And if an as big company as Huawei can't tolerate the losses, what WP phones generates, a smaller company will not tolerate too. This means Microsoft will stay alone with WP, noone else will produce WP phones, and this may cause decreasing market share, and finally this will be the death sentence for WP.

I think WP10 is the last and only hope for WP. MS should change a lot of thing. They should improve GUI, customisation, function, the number and quality of apps, WP need more games and contents, for free, to be attractive.
If they don't do this thinks, WP will not evolve, and market share will be the same 2% as right now, or less.
