it does , 07 Dec 2014YES. High End SAMSUNG Touchwiz Android Devices LAG. Open your eyes. While touchwiz may not be the best ui out there. It certainly does not LAG. I agree tgat it is terrible in devices like the grand and Samsung star and many of the lower end Samsung phones. But the s4, s5, note 3 , note 4 do NOT LAG. unless ofcourse you want them to. If you try to jam the os by never closing any apps and never cleaning your device up and also download stupid third party apps that are most of the times malware, it will obviously lag.
Touchwiz is one of the most bloated ui's out there. If you are smart enough you can obviously debloat it. But even without that it runs fine.

All java apps lag because they run in a virtual machine. And there is a garbage collector inside the virtual machine, which makes it to be more slower.

Google shouldn't use java on "5 Volts powered" devices. I don't know why they choose that lag maker java language, instead of well optimized c++ or objective-c.

Apple fails to grasp that they have to move beyond just optimizing their os for their hardware and designing it properly. IOS has the potential to be a good os but I highly doubt that the company (apple) and its users who seem oblivious to the operating system's shortcomings will ever allow iOS to develop. The latest iOS device I owned ran iOS 6. After the horrible experience I refused to ever go back to iOS. Although u was willing to try iOS 7, I must say it was worse than iOS 6 . UI enhancements is all apple has managed.

Comparing it to android. Android might not be as smooth on low end devices but its stable and most of all versatil. That's the most important thing to me. It provides room for basically doing whatever you want to a phone.

Bottom line that iOS gets stuff done. Android takes mobile computing to the next level and gives you control of everything there is to control in an operating system

                            Hi guys,

I have found one interesting patent application when i was analyzing one, it is about an advanced mobile accessory from SAMSUNG yet in my opinion, till now it is patent application only which is filed in US PTO in 2014. The patent application number is US20140282059 (just have a look at the Figures 28,29 in the patent application). Thought that SAMSUNG will be talking about this in the press conference.

It's always slowing down because I am running too many apps. Then I have to manually close them down, or even reboot the phone. And don't get me started on the screen burn-in. Really regret this phone.

Hard to take anyone seriously that claims this company is no longer relevant yet is the second highest spender on R&D in the world (2nd only to Volkswagen) is the fastest most fearless innovator I can think of.
Innovation has to start somewhere & although may not always be immediately successful, is positively progressive & beneficial for all of us.
                                    Negativity is the opposite.
This is clear to clear minded people.
Not so clear to close minded surfs.

Yes, Note was unlocked for regional owners. Put your SIM inside first, and then put whatever SIM card. No black market there.
This dumb guy (if exist) should put his own SIM first, then take it out and then make business with Asia.

I have to agree that Samsung is so yesterday, the only ones i hear talking about Samsung are those who have low end phones or are having their first smartphone or didnt have a smartphone at all yet. And with the region lock Samsung shut the door on fans of unlocked devices and international users, its just not very practical to get rid of our kids and relatives abroad when we can get rid of Samsung instead.

Really, this company burns their own user, one guy told that he sent a European "unlocked" Galaxy Note 3 to a relative in Asia and it took 3 months before she could use it, Samsungs secrecy about the lock and how it works is deception at a high level, of course people never buy anything from them again after such experiences. Im,agine the poor teen there in Asia who was getting his/her first smartphone and couldnt use it for 3 months? The thing just locked up and bricked itself and noone knew what to do, especially not Samsung, they wouldnt even look at it since it came from Europe and wasnt their problem.

Talk about making yourself irrelevant, way to go samsung.
