puttan, 07 Dec 2014I too received the update in chennai. Using airtel network. Lolipop works like charm...please mention weather its soak test update or the OTA update.

Received 290mb sized update from motorola. It says android 5. The look and feel has changed. My moto g is more faster now and battery life increased by 7 hours.

Hi desperate Moto G(2013) buyers please kindly stop commentating that "I don't got any update please help me"
Few things wants to confirm here
-Yes Motorola released notes android L update for moto G ("but its only release notes")
-The source from which gsmarena got this information is from phonedroid.com that showing 2 screen shots from some XDA developer. I just went through root cause and found out that developer filled up Motorola feedback survey on 2nd of Dec and got soak test update on 5th Dec he himself committed the same if u go through his profile.
Android L not yet released for moto g..so wait for 2-3 more weeks.
Android community ,android police u guys were blind and stop pasting same things as gsmarena pasting even sometime they providing false information

Lollipop madness.!!!
Its a rumor that Motorola has released soak test OTA for its Indian version of moto g xt1033.
It has released for Brazilian version though , people are unlocking their bootloader to get it running on Indian Dual Sim version.
Be patient...
It will come officially in few days.till then wait :)
