I have talked to the Motorola agent. He said that lollipop is not officially released in India. Here is the screenshot.

AnonD-332968, 07 Dec 2014look bro motorola does not come with any flavors of android it nearly equal to the stock andro... moreif its a stock android ...y there is so much delay in rolling out..even the bug fixing update have been pushed to AOSP and nexus 7,10 etc users have updated thier phone to it...still we are waiting for 5.0 ....

Motorola only sends updates like google, for "changing OS version" not like Sa... morelook bro motorola does not come with any flavors of android it nearly equal to the stock android like the one we found on nexus device with just something minor extra or less in the motorola software...if u use or see the samsung touchwiz u will see it has a lot of customization on it compare to the pure stock version & touchwiz is heavy then the stock android & it has more customize so it brings more bugs with it & after publishing they found the bugs & provide the necessary fix to that bugs with an update...on the another hand motorola does not need to provide that bug fix as andorid if self give the bug fixes in its minor update & moto just grab those update & provide it to us eg: kitkat 4.4.4...

Motorola only sends updates like google, for "changing OS version" not like Samsung which sends updates between new versions to fix bugs. That's sad to see, it's been a while since 4.4.4 and no bug fix from motorola.
