This reply from them is contraproductive. Their great product is getting trashed for bad Customer Support and few minor hardware issues: bad touch panel and defective LTPS display with yellow tint appearing in the botyom after some time used. They just should cut the empty talk, recognise issue and deal with display manufactures on one side and customers on the other side. Now they are like getting deeper and deeper in oblivion...

Anonymous, 07 Dec 2014Question now is how do you request a ram when they dint even talk to the customers ? Your bs ... moreNo BS here, they really shipped over 500,000 phones. Look it up if you don't believe me.

BS is saying none of those 500,000 phones got returned. Statistically very unlikely.

        Sorry, your comment is BS.

gonna come to the defence of oneplus right now. How the hell do they have any "refurbished" phones when the phone just came out? Refurbish means a unit that has been returned, but have since been tested working.

so unless a ton of customers returned the phones to oneplus, which is impossible since they don't respond to customers, the reports of them selling refurbish phone is b.s, probably come b.s campagin that is started by one of their competitors to slow down their sales.

lol, 06 Dec 2014You just don't get it, do ya? This phone has same specs as Galaxy S5 but half the price, is so... moreThe thing is Samsung does a lot of the software development, customisations etc. to make your android experience much much better than stock. I was a severe OEM critic (and specifically abhorred Samsung phones) until I compared a stock Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Samsung Galaxy Note 1 & 3, LG L9 & G3, Sony Xperia T3 & Z3, HTC Desire 616 & One M8, a Cyanogen-mod running Nexus 4 & HTC One M7 with each other. The stock android experience was TERRIBLE at its very best. No notification toggle, no way to set your custom ringtone, updates did not necessarily mean improvements and bloatware in the form of Google's apps still existed. The Cyanogen running android was a little better but still felt kind of naked - and had lousy settings menus too. They're mostly useful only in cases of lack of updates from OEMs (which I admit is a huge problem). The OEM androids had everything preset for you (and unfortunately more, adding to google's bloat) and you could immediately start using it without downloading additional apps to get notification toggles, setting your ringtone etc. And the OEM exclusive features like the S Pen from Samsung offered an awesome experience that stock could never replicate. More stuff like additional mass storage (though Google, the supreme specimen, disabled a part of the functionality for downloaded apps), USB OTG, USB peripherals support (like gamepads, dvd writing) etc. were offered out-of-the-box by OEMs and not by stock and even in some custom roms. There is a LOT of in-house software development going on in the bigger OEMs. Its too bad updates are truly an issue but the fact remains that they spend a lot more to create a good version of android while OnePlus simply takes a cyanogen rom and does some basic testing and packs it off to us.

                    Great phone for its price.

                    However customer beware.

Their customer service is non existing. This is no joke.

i bought one plus one from third party online shop in china because i can't get an invite and it came brand new. specs wise this phone rocks and at par with other overrated and expensive brand out there. i also bought this phone for CM tampering purposes to gain more skills in rooting and flashing (lol). Now bring on the one plus two faster and earlier. will you?

This is why they're finally launching in India, because they've finally stockpiled enough reburbished units to offload there.

The speakerphone on the OnePlus is useless - the person on the other end of the call hears a terrible echo of their own voice, so bad that they insist I turn it off. Read the forum posts about it). Makes my OnePlus useless. I immediately emailed OnePlus for an RMA. That was almost 3 weeks ago and no response!!! WTF?!?!?
