Anonymous, 08 Dec 2014Let me guess, with 5W+ TDP...Nope you guessed wrong at 20nm A5x cores are very practical for smartphones even in big.LITTLE configuration.

There are good indications the FUD was spread by Intel's puny PR dept out of sheer desperation.

Phone manufacturers have lost focus from the most basic function of a cellphone "Its suppose to make/receive call without a glitch".

mas39, 08 Dec 2014Sony Z4 Ultra to come with s810, together with 4gb ram and QHD screen, can't wait! The only thing thats for sure about Z4 Ultra is that like all other Xperia it will have at least one major dealbreaker, Sony will always make sure they do something to make their phones less attractive, for Z4 Ultra they may very well chose to go for S805, just for traditions sake, or else they may actually start selling phones and it sure looks like they dont wanna do that. But we dont know yet exactly how they will destroy Z4U, we only know that they will.

I don't know if it'll be ready for S6, but it sure will for Note5 & Note Edge2, so i'm pleased.

RoboticENgi, 08 Dec 2014Last I checked Q1 was in H1 ? Maybe he was going for the worst case scenario where qualcomm release it in end Q1 and Galaxy S6 in early Q2, no time for it . If S6 is not getting 810, i'm gonna go for the Note 5.

They always launch an upgraded S-series after 2-3 months anyway, they did it with S3, S4 and S5, why stop now? S6 will launch with both Exynos and S805, then S810 version will follow shortly after.

Hope they don't push out the 810 with any major bug just to keep a timeline like samsung did with the exynos 5410..
