Smg900f i update my s5 two days ago to lollipop 5.0 and my phone is much more slower than 4.4.2 battery life is disappointing its supposed to increase battery life not decrease it and my phone stoped vibrating on incoming calls...

Lollipop is the smoothest update any galaxy smartphone has ever gotten. It looks fresh, redesigned and pretty responsive. All I can and always have said is that Samsung needs to send updates to each smartphone together, more like apple so we know when to expect our phones getting the update.

Lolipop is ridiculous with those ugly flat icons and all-white infused UI. Ridiculous particularly for Gooogle's current reference Nexus phone and all the other AMOled equipped phones.

I'll stay with kitkat for now.

I flashed 5.0 version from Poland on my S5 and it's great except one minor prolem, like maybe twice since i did it (about 30 h ago) screen went black, but it still registers touch and everything (it's solved by pressing power buton twice and unlocking phone). And other thing that i don't like is music player on lock screen-before there was line like in player app for selecting exact part of song, but now it's gone.

What went wrong with Samsung in lollipop update they have used white background. Black was kinda cool i believe. Plus black background usually helps in saving battery life as per the impressions and inputs from other people. Can anyone tell if we can change this white background to black again. .....those of you who have installed lollipop already please share your experience thanks.

That may be annoying to you, but fine for others like me. I didn't set a pattern so that anyone touching my phone could mess with my notifications.

Given they have managed to all but obliterate any visible differences from Kit Kat, by the sound of it; I take it that the Stock Android feature of lock screen widgets is still broken on Samsung devices when you enable security using a PIN code or pattern lock? Needless to say it is works fine on Stock Android and other non-Samsung implementations of Android, to the best of my knowledge. I believe you can swipe notification messages away direclty from the lock screen now in Stock Android without unlocking. Is that true for the S5 or have they broken that too?
