I'm now typing this comment on my G Pro 2, variant of SK Telecom in its homeland. Besides of heat management, this phone was by far the most impressive one I've ever used, so much better than Galaxy Note 3. I was waiting for G Pro 3, and if this news turns out to be true it would be so, so sad to just accept.

It will be shame if there is no successor in this G Pro series. I have been using the G Pro 2 for some 5 months - simply excellent, yes a rating of 9 out of 10.
The camera is excellent and particular like the panorama, dynamic tone and beauty shot modes. I took near 800 photos with this mobile in my Japan/HK trip last month. The video is also excellent. And the back figuring button for taking photos is very logical.
Of course the phone functions are also great.

need to upgrade their devices more and focus more on drums, performance and camera too. LG's UI still chokes in some situations.

In my opinion LG in the coming years will be a great competitor and will mark its fingerptints in the worldwide markets. They succeeded in creating the best ever LG G2 device facing the very cheap quality and smae design of Samsung devices. Good work LG, we r expecting a good future for you.

Definitely G pro series didn't go well. Good choice on focusing their flagship G4. I guess 5.5inch is enough but they need to downgrade the display to 1080p and have a bigger battery. Fingerprint scanner too at the back! And a very sleek premium built like htc. I own an lg g2 mini and i loved it. If G4 is a beast it could be my next upgrade next year :-)

They should make an LG G4 Compact version that has 5" screen and 720p resolution with the latest chipset (Snapdragon 810).

Flex line is replacing the Pro series.

Aadrian, 08 Dec 2014LG has managed to keep both the G2 and the G3 relatively compact despite their big displays. Agreed! Small footprint + as big screen as possible = best for productivity and ergonomic mobility. (Although I have read reviews from owners of the G2&3 that there are issues with unwanted finger interference with such small bezels and 'game over' with a drop tests).
LG will never compete with the Note series until they develop enough to compete with additional benefits ofthe stylus capabilities, which takes time & lots of R+D (or, in some cases - copying)
Come on LG - riser to the challenge. Competition is good for everyone! :)

The Note series is more appealing cause all other things equal you also get a 'Pen' that does a reasonable job.

LG needs to stick a stylus with wacom digitizer in there and give Samsung a run for their money..
