I belive India users with global version and cynogen sign @ the back will get update.Reason is
How will CM identify and provide update based on region thats the big question because what ever handset which are in india right now are global based version but imported to india thats it.
And the ones which are not CM dont have Cynogen sign at the back those are chinese version which will just have android lollipop on there own developed software other than CM

AnonD-226217, 10 Dec 2014indian version of Mi4 will be launched in Jan 2015 or later almost alongside the debut of Mi5(... moreYou are smoking something strong if you expect those prices. It's sold for much higher in China. Don't tell me Indian prices are cheaper than Malaysia you have no clue then.

LOL BTW you have exposed what I suspected all along, you are trolling. You have never even seen one in person not to mention ever having used one. Yellowish tinge on screen has been reported only on some early batches and it was an isolated case with few units. Customers who had issues have returned them if they could and had them changed. I have a the 64GB Black edition, no such issues. So you can stop with the FUD. If you want to focus on isolated issues I'll point to just about every company having some exploding phones or batteries catching on fire, apple, samsung, sony et al.

Good luck trying to find a Mi4 cheaper than 380 USD in India. Most likely it will be in the upper 400USD region. No Chinese vendor in India has any reputable after sales service since that part of service is handled by Indian outsourcing companies and they are terrible. Someone has already pointed that out to you in the comments below. You get what you paid for that is the best raw hardware without the extras, besides OPO is meant for the geek, surely that means not for you.

AnonD-259899, 09 Dec 2014Lot of FUD and factually incorrect statements. Tell us now, what is the price of the Mi4 in... moreindian version of Mi4 will be launched in Jan 2015 or later almost alongside the debut of Mi5(in china) . So its bound to be priced lower ($249 for 16 gb and $299 for 64 gb model)
OPO lovers also need to understand that Rs. 22,000 is not a small amount for mobile in India . At this price people expect proper service centers and moreover timely automatic updates are a must.
Before blindly running behind its spec sheet , kindly search net for reputed reviews and find out about issues of yellow/green hue on touch screen . The yellowish screen issue is present in almost all india bound OPO sets , its your money ,spend it wisely !!
Cyanogen MOD or MIUI , both are equally good in their own way and offer something ''extra'' that vanilla android user interface cannot match so its useless to fight over miui vs cyanogen debate !!

Cyanogen lied about the update (more like avoided telling the truth). Which YOU chose to believe rather than listening to what One Plus clearly said at the very begining.. So One Plus had warned you before you bought it. So not cheating..

Anyway you should be able to manually download and flash the CM updates meant for the global versions.. And One Plus will eventually be providing an OS based on stock android as OTA in the future..

This is totally unfair on OPO part...

They are cheating the Indian customers.
