What would iPhone and iPod be without Samsung. The CPU processor, the flash memory chips both "DDR DRAM and RAND", primary SOC, audio decoder chip. That is the whole brains of the operation. Samsung should add Apple as one of their divisions, haha.

Iphone 3GS by Samsung S5PC100 @600 MHz, but with PowerVR SGX 535, which is 2x powerfull than the PowerVR SGX 530 in the Omnia HD.
This might be a benefit in 3D gaming but in generell use they should be comparable, both are Corex A8

But what about others? Most of them using slow Symbian. Mobile windows are not as good as Mac os. Not by appearance nor by performance. Most of the people dont understand those critical config. They only know which one is easy to use & meet their purpose...Thats the reason why so many people likes iPhone.

Anonymous, 28 Jul 20092 times 600 is 1200, even then the iPhone 3GS is using an 833 that's Samsung's current fastest... moresadly to say, currently samsung fastest processor is 800mhz and not 600mhz that apple is using. refer to Omnia 2 and Samsung Jet. apparently samsung still reserve some priority for its own devision. Just like LED Tv, samsung isnt selling its Led Proceesing chips to any competitor at the moment.

I guess you are just too slow to grasp that.

Better than anything boring, old Symbian can come up with.

It would read better if the Article said "More than twice as fast as Nokia's current flagship" or "almost twice as fast as the Omnia HD".
Dunno why they mentioned the iPhone at all really.
Maybe they are getting it ready for an iPod Touch, they are usually refreshed in September.
