AnonD-235993, 12 Dec 2014ok a few i do want to mention here: 1.micromax is a indian brand, don't talk shit about there ... moreI agree with you dude... In the current world people are living in dreams..hence they dont compare apple with apple.

Micromax in the given range provides value for money package with the controlled quality in their assembly unit. Name any high-end brand whether in consumer durable or in electronics whose product is completely Indian by hardware. Please wake up and understand that using China's product or manufacturing in china no where means that its of sub standard quality...

Its all about Margin of Profit. Chinese makers making less money offering standard hardware coz they know how to establish the business. Hope with YU brand MMX will also come with some quality hardware that matches the competition of current era of smartphone

ok a few i do want to mention here:
1.micromax is a indian brand, don't talk shit about there strategy, they started from zero and now in top selling mobile brands..
and about manufacturing... they do have promised to manufacture and assemble all mobile in Indian within two years.
2.mediatek:not all people have hundreds of dollars to spend on a smartphone.its not about the gigantic clockspeed at insane RAM,mediatek provides value for money..my phone(micromax) scores above 20k at antutu and even if i doubled this phone's price i can't get a same performance device from Samsung,Sony,Htc..
not supporting 4G is not at all a problem,if someone is rich enough to afford 4G he also can afford a phone having price more than a decent laptop.
micromax is also desperate to improve its after sales service.I stand with micromax, already used three canvas device.. with a few tweaks it has been a delight.best of luck, micromax
