I think if you look precisely you can see that the both back and front side are really at low quality. I can't say it's not nokia but i know the difference between nokia's high end phones screen quality and chinese phones quality, it's surely the chinese quality in the photo, so it's a little bit nearer to fake than to be truth!

Sounds like a fake. Why would nokia release this device at all ?? It makes no sense.

I think it's degraded one, just like nokia5530xm compare to nokia5800xm that the degraded one is mising GPS, smaller battery pack, no 3G data and camera, the n97 mini made have such degradation to, it's nokia principle to do this things!

Most likely a fake I think.. there are so many China knock-offs of popular handsets, some really identical and some not, that's most likely a picture of one of them. I think..

What a perfect idea, but please don't make a mistake as you did on E63 Vs E71. Make sure all the accessories that are in the big brother N97 are also in small brother N97 package.

Let me see, another N-device with:
- 2 years old too slow cpu
- too little memory
- very low resolution screen
- slow as molasses patched-together interim UI that even Nokia has admitted is just a placeholder till next year, when the real touch UI comes out
Who on earth would want to buy it?
I hope it dies a slow and painful death.
Nokia needs to come out with sexy, fast, modern and easy-to-use devices, not the same old cr*p that it's now trying to rehash.

Hmm, hard to tell if this is fake. Not sure if this will be an N series or X series. One thing tho, the current N series design has the Nokia insignia inscripted vertically, on the edge (border) of the phone and always on the right hand side (looking at the phone vertically). This design feature started with the N79. Fake or not fake that is question.

The mini N97 does not have camera cover... it sounds like they downgrade the camera quality.

I just hope there is an upgrade for its RAM, increase in camera's resolution, and improved graphics. I doubt it will be changed to capacitive touchscreen. need to improve graphics, because the big N97 looks just like a 5800 with qwerty keyboard. SLOW and boring... IMHO.
