3g launch was not wide spread in India because 4g auction was held quickly and because companies has to launch 4g in 90% of area in which they got the spectrum in 2015 or else their remaining unused spectrum will be canceled so 4g will launch quickly next year and then comes some good devices by all manufacturers which will support 4g.

Reliance Jio is coming out with pan india 4g network next year and Airtel is also slowly getting into more cities so I think its a good move by Motorola and devices like one plus one which are already 4g ready

Thegrinreaper, 13 Dec 2014If only I got stable 3G in the big indian cities, or even good 2G all over india...no one want... moreYou people are very wrong. In 2013 March the population in bangalore was 8,425,970 and now even more. If in such a big city with 4G network available for the population with that launch of the upcoming Motorola 4G, Motorola can sell even 500,000 devices or more in that city especially if the price is good for a similar device than the Moto G or Moto E. For 500,000 devices sold out Motorola already win the city in the popularity and make profit as well. And what about the other big cities in India with 4G network available?

That is good idea from Motorola to be the first to come up with that plain.

4G works only in big cities like bangalore and my residence kolkata.. so it is not going to make a big impact right now in whole India
