Samesung probably made Apple an offer they couldn't refuse. 2014 has been a bad year for Sammy after Apple ditched them with the A8.

And I've been anticipating qualcomm to release their 810 (20nm) before I upgrade. More competition is better for us. Now Qualcomm has to step up, and release a die shrink of the 810 at least.

AnonD-293430, 13 Dec 2014the thing is you dont know if the exynos is better or not because they run different systems, ... moreYou are wrong.

The Android phones LAG just because the ignorant people want higher and higher screen resolution. And also there are a lot of bloatwares running in the background. The reason why Cyanongen runs better is that it doesn't have bloatwares like Google and Samsung apps.

So it's nothing to do with optimization.

You can say samsung will be the first kne mass producing with 14nm 'for phones'.. Cos Intel got to mass producing with 14nm first with its Broadwell - Core M.. You can however argue that they are meant for tablets and laptops..

If this is true the 6s main upgrade will be battery life.
