By the way go to Settings->About phone-Tap "Build number" 5 times, go back to settings, go into "Developer Options" tap "Select Runtime" select "ART" press "Okay" and reboot. Your Note 4 would run as if its on Lollipop ;) (Note that the first reboot may take up to 15mins)

Although nearing the end of its expected 2 year support cycle?
Those support are mean only for low RAM Samsung devices. For any devices with 3 GB RAM, support cycle are much longer.

I got an update on my Note 4 today, but not all that sure what it was. It was OTA and came through about midnight, early Tuesday morning. It still reads as 4.4.4 on my "About Phone," but why would they bother if we're supposedly getting 5.0 in a month? Just curious about the update. Tried to follow the "Learn more about this update" link, but it wouldn't load correctly. Any info would be appreciated.

I'm not gonna expect Lollipop before february, but hopefully we'll get it in time for the S6 release so we can decide whether the update is good enough to keep using the Note 3 for another 6-12 months.
