AnonD-318931, 16 Dec 20145" QHD display please :) other than that, the 810 SoC and 3GB RAM is good... would be nic... moreNope QHD is far too much overkill for any phone. As soon as the ppi goes above what your eye can see then it's just extra pixels for no use draining battery life and making the gpu work hard. My current phone HTC Sensation, which is about 4 years old, can play the current graphic intensive games, with minor downgrade of graphic fidelity because of the low resolution of 1/4 full hd. It's honestly plain stupid to upgrade the phone higher then laptop & tv resolutions. It's just so they can market the phone saying it had 4k or whatever to make more ppl buy it, but in practice it is a horrible decision.
I want a 4.5" 720p Snapdragon 805 with 4000mah of battery and slim bezels from HTC for my basic texting, calling, internet and some gaming activities and a Note 4 with Snap 810 for multimedia, work, heavy gaming and virtual reality. That would do for me, for now.
I have been waiting to see between the M9 (Hima), S6 or Z4 which one will have a reasonable screen size (5.5" too big IMO) and having 2 speakers up front as well as being waterproof. FTW I'd like a FP scanner too. I hope the Hima has one. Lastly, I WANT A RED ONE!! That concept video of the red one was stunning.
Noel, 16 Dec 2014Hope for a 5.2" screen or maxx at 5.5" screen, but 5" will ok as well. Bezels m... moreAgreed (apart from screen size -as big as possible in as small as possible form factor for me - I use my smart phone for everything these days and bigger screen gives better functionality)
Oh - and a black / v.dark grey option would be great too.
Yo, what happened to black, I want that option
Sensible. 1080 and 5". Well done HTC.
I hope i will be 5", everything above is just too big
Hope for a 5.2" screen or maxx at 5.5" screen, but 5" will ok as well. Bezels must be small and no logo bar...shoot for a screen to bezel ratio of 80+%. Battery capacity of 3500+mAh and being capable to be removable will be a key selling point. Also rear cam of 20+MP with 5+MP front and a 64GB option plus SD slot of 128GB and I will be set.
As good as the past HTC flagships have been..hope they can correct the minor issues that make some of us skip their devices and give us no excuse to do so.
5" QHD display please :) other than that, the 810 SoC and 3GB RAM is good... would be nice if it came with more accessories.... i loved my M7, and currently thoroughly loving my M8... i have also enjoyed using the HTC One X, Sensation XE, Sensation, Desire HD, Desire, HD2, Touch Dual and TyTn :)
p.s. im not a HTC fanboy LOL
Facts, 16 Dec 2014Lets see if HTC can make the best smartphone in a calendar year 3 times in a row! :)
I was thinking the same, could they do three in a row. They have already won phone of the year 4 times in 6 years.
No one has done three in a row yet, I think they will.
Lets see if HTC can make the best smartphone in a calendar year 3 times in a row! :)
Everybody must buying from crapple for using this 3 of colours grey, gold and silver because crapple is the inventor of this big innovation and already patented in US.
NO man, not 5 inch, and a huge body! They should change this already. HTC devices looks cool, but are big.
AnonD-4340, 16 Dec 2014How? iPhone 5s came long before M8. HTC One M7 was not available in grey.Wow! Based on your comments Now I know that Apple is the inventor of gray xD, and that makes everybody must buy from crapple for using gray color. Haha crapple lol
im planning to buy a new phone this 2015, hope actual specs and design of this phone suites my taste...
Maybe if the bezels are really small M9 can be the same size or even smaller than m7. That would be awesome and an instant buy for me. I am really happy with my m7 but it could be smaller.
[deleted post]You are hilariously crazy and ignoramus. HTC One M(7) was released March 2013 in black, silver, red, blue and gold and you iphone 5s was released Sept. 2013. HTC One (M8) in silver, gun metal grey & gold was released March 2014 and your iphone 6 was released Sept. 2014. And now, who is copying who?
