Updated to Lollipop right after it was released in Poland and everything worked (almost) OK. No changes in the battery life, but not noticeably faster than on 4.4.2. Facebook stopped working altogether and there was still some lag here and there. Updated to the new release and FB is working again and so far no lag at all. New cosmetic changes are OK, but what I don't like is the removal of the music controls from the lock screen when playing via Bluetooth.

Updated to this Lollipop release using Odin. In the beginning the system feels really slow compared to KitKat, but when it crunch on whatever it's doing in the background and update a bunch of apps, it runs smoothly again. This update does have English for those of you that can't speak Polish, and you won't lose any of your apps, settings etc. It will definitely take some time to get used to (I don't know why won't they simply let us pick our color theme for options), but it seems that it's a good release (Still need to check how it affects the battery life).

My S5 failed OTA but KIES3 managed to connect and update. Tough to comment after a while but, what I will definitely not like is a white background; a disaster for OLED and battery...

I'm sorry, what update? I live in Poland and own an unlocked S5. No update is available, refined or not. Not that I'm unhappy with 4.4.2, I just keep wondering why none of these updates are available for my device - for all I know, unlocked phones get it first, carrier-bound ones get it later. Or am I missing something?

i'll update my friends S5 this evening. Difficult to say what might change if there's no changelog. What i saw is - main drawback from initial version 5.0 - is that apps remain in Taskmanager even after a complete shutdown (remove battery) and restart again. Not sure if this is intended (ART) or if it's a bug. In general if find it really good although some quirks and oddities are there. performance was not bad at all.

I'm from Slovenia and use POLISH version. The language is all ok. This package also includes the Slovenian language. I have a problem because my S5 on lolipop 5.0 does not work at the same speed as on 4.4 and as I said .... I can not put the phone quietly. Enabled is the only normal vibration and normal ringing...I am speaking for the first version, this evening I gave up a second version ... I hope that in the new version this problem is history...

about that update: Poland is one of best place to test something: its not to big market, nor to small.
It have loots of tech users that really like messing with their devices, so they can test/use every part of new updates.
So companies can focus on work not on listening bit#ing that something doesn't work from random users.

I hope that the second correction is ok. The first does not work properly. In the first version of lolipop 5.0 phone has no chance quiet,. As it is almost impossible, but apparently they do something wrong ....
