It's ... moreThat's very true because I'm currently working in Vietnam and just happened to use an AU variant Note 3 from Japan. And such devices are made in Korea specific for Japan instead of made in Vietnam.

I hope this golden Note 4 is not made in China.
I ordered one Note 4 before and returned it because I found out that mine was made in China. We knew all Chinese made electronic devices are tagged with Chinese spying bugs to spy on the users.
Samsung Galaxy S5 is one of the greatest phones ever made available in the market now. Its 18-megapixel camera is amazing. However, the Samsung great quality was found only in those Galaxy S5's that are either made in Korea or Vietnam. The Chinese made Samsung Galaxy S5 is the worst. The power button is flimsy and crappy, in addition to its annoying permanent ghost images on the screen. Before buying, check it carefully to make sure the electronic device is not made in China. Don't spend your hard earned money on crappy lousy Chinese made phones. The #bendgate problems of made-in-China iPhones is one example.

That is a carrier model by AU KDDI (Japan), its a japanese carrier variant, not vietnam. It's probably imported by a Vietnam shop as they do bring in AU KDDI devices quite often.
