Cyber, 19 Dec 2014it will be fourth generation same boring designDesign is a matter of taste or a lack of it.
What about camera improvements, OIS ... Still " refreshed Z1 resfresh " ?
AnonD-104517, 19 Dec 2014sony following sammyGod no, at least sony of all hasn't got anything to do with sammy...
Quite opposite, sammy cumberesly following sony in some instances
Cyber, 19 Dec 2014it will be fourth generation same boring designNot boring but overused design.
Leaked by North Koreans...
sony following sammy
Very good specs Snapdragon 810 with 4Gb ram the 64-bit apps need to start their debut now. So at the release we want wait longer to enjoy the full potential of the 64-bit devices. Well done as Samsung choose to go for 3Gb ram which will not give the real performance of the 64-bit CPU.
May the best win.
it will be fourth generation same boring design
If this PIC is the real thing, I'd like to see less reflection on the screen. Other than that, it seems like a great phone.
I've had the HTC Desire HD, Samsung S3 and seems like this will be my next phone.
Lol, obviously a fake.
Because the Z4 would be a fifth generation device, not a fourth.
this is the "ELEMENTAL" its on another level of design. good move sony bring it. i can switch from sammy lagwiz any day now i hope sony wont suck like on the satio u1i i once had. was so boring they had symbian in the u1i hope they make the z4 intresting on the software side.
Snap810 64bit + 4gb ram.
Specsed with Lollipop ART Runtime with AOT compilation is Superb.
The result is as smooth, if not smoother than iPhone6 plus.
Lollipop require big size of ram to perform better. 4gb ram definitely has significant advantage.
on the other side:
Lollipop = future Smoothness.
Kit Kat 4.4.4 = bugs free Android u can have now.
The image doesn't look credible enough. Look at the status bar, for example... The icons there have been long ditched in the Android 4.3 version, while the Z4 will most likely shipped with the Android Lollipop (If rumours are to be believed). I'd like to see a major software design overhaul as well. The current one, although smooth, snappy and elegant, lacks some nifty features provided by the likes of HTC Sense. Hardware-wise, I'd really love to see some deviation from the usual design language... It's been around since 2012, and is getting a bit long in the tooth now.
will consider if without flaps but still included water resistant
It looks like the best phone ever, can't wait to see the wizard
Isn't it technically 5th generation Z? It says 4th gen. =_=
AnonD-265082, 19 Dec 2014Z3 had better lines, this just has a better colour Z2 had better lines
Xperia Z4 has nothing new in compare to Z3, except that snapdragon 810(if it even comes out) and the new adreno gpu. They should seriously bring something new to the table than to stay on water and dust resistant thing. It won't make any difference anyways.
