Wait, what do you mean silent mode was missing on 5.0? How did Google miss that?! I'm supposed to be getting 5.0.1 for my phone next month, does that have it?

AnonD-249509, 19 Dec 2014If Google would improve quality control, they wouldn't need to update Android so frequently. I... moreAndroid is pretty stable upon releases. Better than iOS with quality control but maybe behind WP, but then again WP is way behind iOS and Android in any other possible way. Running CM12 Andoid 5.0.1 and have no real bugs to report so far. But I have to agree with the update, the colour palette of some apps are awful. Like bright pink on top of midnight blue for the clock app. Yuck

A little bit of research would ... moreActually Sony is the best choice for fast updates if you custom ROM second only to Nexus. They are very developer friendly and actually release their source code, stock Android and a unified kernel for their devices making ROMs that much more stable and easy to build.
Converted my Moto G XT-1033 to XT- 1032 GPE. Got 5.0.1 on my phone and no bugs in spite of this software not being intended/ optimized for my dual sim phone
so its basically update that should be in 5.0 in the first place... ""cool story bro""...

If Google would improve quality control, they wouldn't need to update Android so frequently. I mean 5.0 was released just recently.
