Just saw my 535 go stupid. Blank screen, only opening, login, notifications. Was running 8.1, as that's the last that apparently allows resident maps (though going 8-8.1 dropped them on my real Nokias before).
Looked at the Micros--t blog. Someone who miraculously passed himself off as smart to get his H1B could only say "Turn it off then back on" and "roll back..."

Great useful P.O.S. phone when I'm walking lost around Viet-Nam, I'm sure. They had just come out when I was last there, and I thought Wow! Let's get one to upgrade from my US 520 and 521.
Joke. Mind you, was great until some packet of {xxxxxxxxxxblah} was in notifications.
Now, I have a 4s, cracked digitizer, all updates, had long enough to go through 2 batteries-
Works PERFECTLY- even after monsoons.
I'm going to the MS subgenious complex in downtown SF. If they can't resolve it on the spot, both phones are going to the Apple store on Union Square as a gift for their testimonials--
One stellar, and one absolute rubbish that'll let you down when you don't need it to.

Microsoft is not helping with my lumia 535 phone.
Their executives are rude and not helpful at all.
Please NEVER buy this brand. They dont even have a service center here.
Plus they are out of stock for all the parts especially battery, cover and charger.
MICROSOFT has cheated me to max!

Still I can't see anything on the display. The screen still on black. I thought the problem is with the screen but reading this trail of messages I now knew that it's the os that made the screen black. Lumia 535 sucks.

my lumia535 is in black screen it recieve messages and vibrate but it doesnt appear anything just black no dim light or anything.
