Sony Ericsson Jalou - next Symbian phone or a fake? Comments

Sony Ericsson U10i - DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE!! I hate it. Touch screen stopped working after two days. It is very slow between screens. The battery lasts about four hours and as far as I can tell I have everything that uses energy turned off. The camera might be 8 meg but you'd better have patience and a steady hand if you want a good photo. Even worse at night.
Defintely rushed. Or at least Sony Ericsson did not care enough about quality control. I cannot believe that they did not know of its problems before releasing. They can’t respect their customers. I will never buy a Sony Ericson again. I have had this useless phone for two weeks and am already researching a replacement. Not sure whether I will disrespect my friends enough to give it away. I will probably throw against the floor. DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE. If you like the features, buy a chinese knock off, it can't be any worse and may come with slots for two sim cards. DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE!! DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE!! DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE!! Should be rebadged as Anus instead of Aino!

This phone is fake. Haven't anyone seen this website: http://www.concept-phones.com/sony-ericsson/sony-ericsson-jalou-t650i-cameraphone-hah-fell/ . It basically tells that the pictures are just rendering jobs done by someone at esato.

I have checked that site and it's been listed for certification request on the page 21. Requested of customer name (by) SONY ERICSSON MOBILE COMMUNICATION on 08/04/2009 of date request records, 5 sony ericsson phone models : T715, Yari U100i, Satio U1i, Aino U10i, Jalou, and a bluetooth h.sets VH-310, all from CHINA manufacture.
And notice that this is a certification request, I guess the Jalou name is the retail name of this new Symbian SE phone. But where's the official statement from SE? Now I'm getting nervouzzz....

yes, that pic is taken from indonesian government's post&telecommunication website, which means this 'jalou' device is already registered in indonesia, so i think it wont be so long for the launch, let's see

no comment about sony ericsson
they can't make the Symbian UIQ become popular and had to drop it
now they use the OS which been used by NOKIA for almost 8 years
(moreover their fans always critic symbian s60 for 2005-2008

This would make sense. Features on this phone are more modest. Sony needs to introduce some lower spec smartphones that don't take forever to get to market. Not all of us are after a megapixel monster. Whatever happened to the G700 / G900 range ? They were light and compact and had bright screens.

a complete fake, sony have gone down the pan, aswell as nokia's. looks like its all left to apple nowadays if u want a decent phone. then again their basic settings such as bluetooth and camera are quite poor. doesnt anyone make anything decent anymore. Bring back the handheld remotes and battery carriers, they were more interesting :)
