Poor batteries, mostly non-removable (Ridiculous considering their price); mostly poor speakers, too often no SD slots, no xenon flash, overheating/bending (Too slim). Current smartphones suck so we need to have the ability to build our own.
I wanted to have this since I have seen it. Really want to work and play games on this with SteamOS module!!! GTA V + SteamOS + Ara = Just AWESOME!!!

So some people will be buying a new base unit to use their old modules, and actually end up spending money just to put their old modules to use.
It will still sell though, you know what there is one of in every village...
I'm so excited for this project, I hope carriers accept this because I'd love to make this as my daily driver when its on Spiral 2.
Its great to see the team is progressing well and I am eagerly waiting to see the final fully functional device which i could I grab asap.
As for now, I don't see any other options other than Project Ara for the worth upgrading my current mobile or replacing it in a near future.
Hope Project Ara team read all these comments.
