I wonder if there would be a third-party software to enhance its recording capability? Coz the video recording is the only thing that bothers me about 5530, the others I can live with..

And why use gps if you could for ask directions for free( bossing saan b ung ganto, ganyan)and its the best way to know where youre going... thats here in the philippines. 3g and gps are not much in use... really being practical is the answer.

5800 touchscreen is... moreI heard the upgrade software of nokia 5800 includes kinetic scrolling and better camera performance, so.. 5800 only inferior to 5530 in its CPU
I can live without 3G, it's not that much faster anyway, nothing much to miss, but the GPS and VGA video recording quite bother me.. Can Google Maps realy substitute GPS? I'm speechless about that VGA recording.. I wish they could realy upgrade this one..
Emanresu, 08 Aug 2009It does indeed have VGA recording, I asked Nokia personally. Are you sure?
Since i visited Nokia website and saw this phone, i been itching for it to be released, saw the vids on YouTube and well impressed, wasnt impressed with the 5800, only slightly disappointed cos they could've put in a 5MP camera, still looking for to it.

Anonymous, 08 Aug 2009apparently I'm not the only one..
Again:
I won't buy 5530Xm then, because I need it both.... morei'm sick of hearing people telling that they are disgusted with nokia in bringin something inferior to the people!!!
It's not the technology going inferior dude it's the price tag!! and to make this happen the services, as i had mentioned earlier, used by only 5% people in the world were cut off, to sell the product to the remaining 95%...it's not nokia's fault that you fall amongst the 5%!!
yet again if the price becomes much expensive then i think you would be correct then to some extent..
It does indeed have VGA recording, I asked Nokia personally.
Does anyone knows how much is the accurate price of this phone in Singapore? pls answer. thanks.
This phone is already available through Carphone Warehouse. £15/month on contract or from £129.95 on prepay. It's also an exclusive for the first six weeks of release.

I won't buy 5530Xm then, because I need it both.... moreeven if they sell it at 175euro I will still buy it with 3G..
So where is the problem putting something so basic & useful inside??
apparently I'm not the only one..
Again:
I won't buy 5530Xm then, because I need it both.. Fast on apps and surfing as well.. In my country all areas, all providers, and hotspots as well have 3G. It's a shame that nokia release something inferior than previous 5800, while the technology is supposed to be forward!
how much is the price different I wonder just for 3G application only??
surely not that much difference.
Typical 'Nokia game' and I just don't buy it..!!
