d-pad at left just so normal for gamers..new for phone but i think its interesting. not TOO conventional. moto doesn't really like to play safe like others (making iPhone like phone).

If people nowadays want to get the best feature phone, then why do low-end phones still outsell their better brothers? Ironic, isn't it?

optional, 13 Aug 2009haha good call david i would have to agree. Guys give up on motorola the only thing they have ... moreStill can't understand why / how people judge the success of a phone company by its ability to offer top-of-the-line phones, when in terms of "volume", low/mid end phones are the ones that sell.

That's the reason why Moto still outsells SE. No offense to HTC, but as much as HTC makes so many top-of-the-line phones, in terms of sales volume, it won't match Moto anytime soon.

Moto is still the leader of comm and major chips in your phones are still made by moto beside TI chips. Can blackberry do over-the-sync? Android Dev are improving their software over the months if you really track and use it. The latest document viewer for android is already made possible and it works. New android phones should improve the cpu, memory and batt...other than tht, Perfect.
I am amazed with the theft alarm released recently which triggers when the phone is moved from its possition. Thanks to the acelorometer, blackberry has this? C'mon give moto another chance :)

I'm user of G1, from the pic discription, it seems most features are the same
I guess Android phones are pretty much depending on the Android Market to expand the usability of the phones. this mot model doesn't seems to have a track ball which I think is compulsory for android phones. Hope it comes w high cap batt. The cpu & rom should be double up too :)

worst phone ever, i am surprised mot are still even in the phone industry after the last 3 phone did nothing but cause pain and stress. Being an android phone i can only imagine it having even more problems and mate lets be serious the N97 haha nothing but problems.
i deal with phones everyday and wouldnt go past a blackberry. :)

Why is everyone ranting about phones lacking features? Is the presence of Wi-Fi and 3G, and many other things the bases for your purchase of a phone? Is the resolution of the camera determine if the phone's "good" or "bad"?

This i believe this time it will not have any basic lacking, like FM, Push Mail, Office editor, or a less sound. Also i have to check out the looks of this phone if it has something special like RAZR, I believe it will be a hit as well.
By and all we want something new extraordinary without compramising anything, If it has i will buy it. & N97 is rally having very much hanging problems

To my previous post: I forgot the crappy camera, which cannot even compare with the one in N97. But I have to agree about that it has a CPU/RAM advantage, but clearly not in the same league as Omnia HD.

As I said, a budget Android. No more, no less.

hh, 11 Aug 2009this phone can knock out x1 , n97 very easy THIS one? Are you kidding? Low-res screen, no internal memory, no voice control/video call, few colors, no digital compass, no FM radio or FM transmitter, nor is the CPU significantly better than N97's. However, it isn't even close to Omnia HD. This phone is worth about 300-400 euros unlocked, not more. Flash memory is the most expensive part, and this phone clearly lacks it. Is it the budget version of the REAL Motorola flagship phone for 2009 perhaps?
