AnonD-259899, 29 Dec 2014Yeah sure mr. engineer who does "AutoCAD on a phone" LOL, I can't wait to tell this ... moreDon't waste your time with these dolts.
I'll agree and say the s-pen is a gimmick feature and out of all note 1-4 owners combined probably less than 1% use the pen on a weekly basis and less than 0.5% on a daily basis if that.
Its a fantastic sales gimmick; makes you want to buy the phone because it's something you think you'll use all the time but after you buy it it's just something you don't actually use but just show friends how cool it is and then that makes them want to buy it and the cycle continues.
i think there are two versions of g4 a 5.3" and 5.7"
i hope im right!
kudos lg!
Anonymous, 30 Dec 2014Great job LG, show them what you've got. The only smartphone this year which i find innovative... morelg the best for this year and the next year.
G4 see you soon
Fantastic, now we have some competitor. Great for customer. I need a phone with Stylus.
Great job LG, show them what you've got. The only smartphone this year which i find innovative first quad hd (alhough i didn't find it's a must have feature), laser af, 5.5 in good screen to body ratio, simple ui, good design, and reasonable price.
Excellent, was about to get a Note 4 but will wait for this and decide then. About time another company released a phone with a functional stylus. Can't believe it has taken so long. The marketing departments of the big phone companies have obviously been asleep.
AnonD-335213, 29 Dec 2014Yeah, you maybe right... point well-taken.the daughter of samsung's chairman married the son of LG's chairman. LU+ (LGTelecom )selling samsung phones.
ang LG and Samsung are the two giant South Korean smartphone makers and their profits helps the country's economic's growths!
Anonymous, 29 Dec 2014I'll give you an example in S Korea alone G3 sold 34% of all smartphones in the 3rd quarter wh... morethe only lg flagship smartphone to reached morethan 10 million sold units.
AnonD-335213, 29 Dec 2014Facts please...I'll give you an example in S Korea alone G3 sold 34% of all smartphones in the 3rd quarter while galaxy s5 and note4 combined just for just lessthan 25%
and because of The LG G3, LG mobile in the Philippines has finally reached the double digits of market shared.
and according to LG Korea G3 is the only flagship smartphone to reached the 10 million sold units.

For me the greatest device will be the one that has copied all of the successful features of other brands. I do not care what adjectives people will use to describe it for copying.
Anonymous, 29 Dec 2014No point arguing over "copying".. Every device/feature has had inspiration from so... moreThe Motorola Atrix was the phone with the fingerprint sensor.
a "normal "stylus will never be able catch up with a "pressure sensitive" stylus such as s-pen .. still LG could turn plot
No point arguing over "copying"..
Every device/feature has had inspiration from something else.
1. Google took inspiration from ios for Android (check out demo showing pre-ios release of android.. It was more button based than touch based)
2.Samsung took inspiration from the iphone and ios for their initial devices (don't deny this.. Samsung CEOs were sending around mails to the design team with iphone pics and saying 'people want that. Make it like that' and even made presentations comparing the iphone and their devices side by side and making it look similar.
3.iphone itself was an inspiration from a weird unreleased sony prototype i believe.
4.stylus were done before samsung note (palm devices, nokia 5800) but samsung made it way better
5.fingerprint scanner on phone was done before (some moto i think) but pracrically usable implementation was by apple and later on by lg..
Basically everything was done at some point so calling it "copying" just for the sake of bashing is meaningless..
No point arguing over "copying"..

I currently still have the G2 but am wanting to upgrade to the G3. But now that I've heard of the G4 I think I'll wait. If the G4 is an upgrade to the G3 and comes with the same 5.5 screen our maybe even a 5.7 I'm definitely going to get it. Big is better but not to big. One handed operation is key.
AnonD-259899, 29 Dec 2014Yeah sure mr. engineer who does "AutoCAD on a phone" LOL, I can't wait to tell this ... moreYou're arguing with people that are using the S-pen, trying to convince them that S-pen is useless.. Don't you realize how stupid that is? If you are convinced that the S-pen is useless, maybe it is, for you, but that doesn't mean you can force your own conviction to everyone else, does it? Or maybe you just don't know the full potential of the S-pen. Because it is a fact that many people that bought the Note 4 are really utilizing the S-pen to it's full potential.
AnonD-345175, 29 Dec 2014What's next the LG G5 edge?hehehehe you're right.
What's next the LG G5 edge?
LG try to be like Samsung? Noooooo.....You're yanking my chain.
Can everyone please stop saying that everyone copies everyone?
Seriously? They are trying to get a profit! and if they are copying samsung then let samsung sue them! seriously!
