The stylus is gimmick most people don't even use it after the first days of novelty feeling wears off. Yes there are some pretenders who claim that it helps their "artistic" work, but reality is that it is just a pass time and not for serious professional work. They like to peddle that nonsense around in here often LOL do they even realize how silly they sound? Nope that's why they persist.

AnonD-292864, 29 Dec 2014I didn't buy LG G2 or G3 just because they have on-screen buttons which limits the screen. You sound just like me two years ago, however since abandoning Samsung and migrating to a device with on-screen buttons my thoughts have since changed. First, most apps will hide the nav buttons giving you back the screen space. Second, with my Samsung capacitive buttons I was often hitting the back key by accident especially when holding the phone in landscape. This never happens now with on screen nav buttons.
All these people posting about LG toppling the note series really gave me a laugh.
LG have been copying Samsung, and good on them! There really isn't another company better to emulate. That's why LG's sales are great compared to HTC and Sony, who are no longer in the top 5, and who will likely not be in the smartphone business for much longer if this trend continues.
The chinese phone makers, Apple, Huawei, OnePlus, Xiaomi, have the advantage of insanely cheap labor. And yes, I dared to include Apple because Apple have NEVER manufactured even one iPhone in the USA; 85 percent of the iPhone 5 line were manufactured in China.
Anonymous, 29 Dec 2014Do Galaxy Note owners even use their S Pens? I've never used the stylus on my Note 3 or 4. Not... moreoh, wait Mr Anonymous, did you say you have never used the s pen in your note? Lie!...But if in any case you are speaking the truth, then I suggest that you trade your note for an iPhone because you sure as hell don't know what you have.
But for students like some of us, and engineering students for that matter, we can't really underestimate the power of a Note.
competing with note 4!!!! haha go home LG u r drunk... first try to compete with chinese phablets which are blowing u off then come n compete with the mighty note series... no matter how hard u try note will always come up with better things everytime...by the time u launch G4,they will come up with N5 that will be much better than G4... u cannot kill a superking who has already captured the whole world... such is the case of u n samsung... u cant even beat them in ur home, how would u beat them in international market...

AnonD-7834, 29 Dec 2014I think we should crown LG as the king of copying now! They even tried to copy TouchWiz. I mean, look at some of the UI elements on the G3
Nice one from LG, hitting two birds with one stone.

Why drop the display down from the G3's 5.5" to 5.2"? If the G4 is to compete with the Samsung Galaxy Note 4's 5.7" display, I would have thought it best to leave the G3 screen as it is or step up in size.
