They will share same App Store. To kill Windows Phone you must then kill Windows 10 on desktop/laptops/hybrid/tablets first.

Yaa u r right i have 2 wp. 520 and latest 630 but difference is that 520 is still updated phone instead of 630, 630 has 2 years old app features and nothing is new in games and app i think microsoft should be open the gate of outsiders to download games everywhere.

WP 8 is a DEAD OS. MS itself admits this fact. They concentrate only the low-end modells, which is not make profit. They only purpuse now is to survive, and make some market share, with ultra cheap crap phones.
They last hope is Windows 10 phones. That OS MUST be a real kickass product, or they will lost the complet phone market. (Or in best case, they will be a marginal brand, like now).

Man ms slow is everything there updates and there flagships. The 930 was released sooo late.well i hope win 10 will be cool. If that would make wp a mini pc its gonna rock.

Also when at least 70% of an platform devices are LOW end, not even middle range, but bottom of the bottom LOW end it proves that this OS has no future, as too little people would actually risk paying a lot of money for this platform

Still a decent OS, MS just needs to be able to continue to grow it as a more integrated part of the desktop/workstation environment.

WP is always playing catch up. Its also not surprising to see the 630 on the rise, especially since Microsoft dropped the price on the 630 as low as $35 during the holiday season. So yeah people will buy when you drop the price down to those loss leader prices.

Even 100 percent of windows phone marketshare is nothing. Windows Phone went from a paltry 3.6 percent of Smartphone sales in 2013 to an even more sad 2.6 percent in Q3 2014.
