No the battery is way to low, All mid to low range phone should have a minimum of 2300mAh battery.

my advice,

HTC should re-release last year's HTC One 801 and/or HTC One 802, keep the award winning design but change the body to hi-quality plastic, get rid of the Ultrapixel camera and install the 13MP one, rename it as "Desire", and sell it at USD400 or less.

so they'll have a beautiful and affordable phone with minimum R&D cost.
