No way Sony did this to only sell 99 units; they're betting on the media exposure these 99 devices get to push sales of the regular mass-produced non-exclusive versions of these devices as well. Nuff' said. Done.

Cool...Sony finally hired a designer. Hope they ask those people tod design the shape of future phones too. The current ones are boring compared to the competitors.

You think Sony did this just to sell 99 limited edition devices? Of course not, they hope people seeing these but can't get their hands on one will opt for the regular mass-produced version of the device instead.
