For the first time am using Redmi 2A bit am in tanzania. I can use it on calling,received a call,send a message and receive,but it keeps telling me connection problem or invalid MMI when i checked the balance in my sim card also when am recharging,so i cant recharge or look for the balance,also it tells me that my device is not activated,am in need of your help.

Dargh, 09 Mar 2015I just bought redmi 2 4G LTE, but test speed show a very low internet speed compared to Samsun... moreI share the same opinion... when compared to new motorola, 4G speeds are very less... also, many times its not reachable for others when on 4G... something wrong with the hardware for sure...

3G: 900/2100
4G: 900/1800/2600
The USA supports (in various regions)
3G: 850/1900 or 1700/2100 (depending on carrier)
4G: 700/850/1700/1900/2100/2500
No overlap. I was looking to see if it would work in USA and I think not.

banda, 10 Mar 2015Sir this rom is also working in redmi 2 for become more battery backup It does not work in USA.I contacted Xiaomi customer services and they were not all helpful.Kept mailing the frequency bandwidth of redimi2 and asked me to contact the US carriers.It did not work with AT&T as well as T Mobile.I think it has something to do with the software.
